Cast A Long Shadow: MONGOLIA

1. Don't run out of water, 2. Don't run out of gas, and 3. Make damn sure your car doesn't break down. When my existence boils down to those three concerns, I can say that's the best feeling in the world.

For 21 days between May and June of 2015, I traveled with fellow photographer Vincent Isler throughout Mongolia in a Ford Everest. We drove over 4500 kilometers, reaching as far south as the South Gobi where dirt turns to sand, and as far north as the Mongolian/Russian border where one is told to head back from where they came.

A small selection of the moments I experienced are presented here, without further context.
